About Faith Works
The Faith Works Small Group is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and community service among its members. Through monthly Bible study sessions, we will deepen our understanding of Scripture and its practical application in our lives. In addition to our studies, we will engage in community volunteering throughout the year, embodying Christ’s call to serve others.
Bible Study:
Our Bible study meetings will be on the 2nd Friday of the month and will focus on exploring key Scriptures that highlight the importance of faith, service, and community. Each session will include a potluck fellowship, group discussions, shared reflections, and activities to encourage personal and communal growth.
Community Volunteering:
The second monthly meeting (to be scheduled every month) will be dedicated to volunteering in various community service projects. Activities may include assisting at local food banks, visiting nursing homes, organizing community clean-up efforts, or supporting shelters. This practical application of our faith allows us to put the teachings of Christ into action, fulfilling the call to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31).
Anyone with the heart to serve others is welcome. We encourage families to participate as well, but due to the age requirements of the organizations we will serve, children must be middle school aged or older during service project time.
